Key specs
The lens has an 18mm focal length and an aperture range of f/2 to f/16. The design consists of 9 elements in 7 groups. Minimum focusing distance is 0.2 m and the filter thread measures 52 mm. With a diameter of 64 mm, a length of 32 mm and a weight of about 109 g, it is very compact[1]. On an APS-C sensor with a 1.5x crop factor, the angle of view is roughly that of a 27mm lens on full frame.
Autofocus and build
Autofocus is driven by an STM stepping motor, and 7Artisans says it supports eye AF. The aperture ring clicks into steps, which the manufacturer says gives tactile control. The body is metal in a retro design and comes with a square lens hood. According to the manufacturer, the construction is sealed against dust[1].
Mount
According to the product page, the lens is available for Sony E only, and there is no mention of other mounts[1]. Find more options under all Sony E lenses.
