Zeiss lenses for Leica M-Mount
Zeiss, the German optics manufacturer, offers 13 ZM lenses for the Leica M mount. All are manual-focus primes for full frame, covering 15mm to 85mm, with no zooms. Several classic designs appear: the Biogon at 21mm, 25mm, 28mm and 35mm, the Planar T* 2/50 ZM, the C Sonnar T* 1,5/50 ZM and the Sonnar T* 2/85 ZM. The Distagon T* 1,4/35 ZM is the fastest lens in the group at f/1.4, and the Distagon T* 2,8/15 ZM is the widest at 15mm.
Weight stays moderate: 200 g for the Carl Zeiss C Biogon T* 2,8/35 ZM, 550 g for the 15mm Distagon as the heaviest. The list below can be filtered by focal length, aperture and weight.
